The creative Headache
Oh dear headache, why have you came,
For bothering my head and spoiling my game?
The game of the creative, the game of the bold,
the same game in which , i do not hear what you told
The grammar u see is poor, as you are blocking my thought
and stopping me every bit , making me feel caught
Caught in your trap?, excuse me please
You dont know who am I , neither butter nor cheese
Neither am i so soft, nor so lousy
To speak in you face, that you make feel so lousy
I want to think more, and you push me to give up
But look at your self , it is you whom i have picked up
Because nothing else i can, think of other than you now
So thought of just saying, you are making me feel wow
People around are shouting , and speaking at their peak voice
unaware of you my headache , that you dont like such noise
What is it that you want, you may speak or just shout,
So that we can neagotiate , and help you go out
Thanks for being there, and crossing over my ways,
Else i wont have ever wrote, this piece of text anyways
How to Write a Poem
Writing a poem is easier than you think. Just have a key idea in mind and let the thoughts flow through in a pristine manner without any boundary. Do not limit the flow of thoughts and let the right brain do the thinking. You may edit it later and edit it while creating is not a great thing to do. Creative mind and logical mind do not work parallel and either of them superimposes during this conflicting process.
Creation and Editing are two different tasks
As I mentioned above, let both the processes happen in their own respective zones and not let them have any overlap whatsoever. This small but intelligent step will make the process more and more lively and make you feel more connected to the words while writing.
Keep it Simple and start now if your heart says
There is no special rulebook to be followed while writing a poem and what looks good to you is good enough. The worst thing you can do to yourself is to be a perfectionist and wait for that perfect poem which may or may not come.
Whatever looks good enough is good enough. Go and pour out your heart and share it with the world.
Consequences do not matter for creative works as they purely reflect your conscience and make you feel happy and content before doing so to anyone else in the world. Happy creative Writing! See you soon.
